General Accountant – IWG Plc (Taguig, National Capital Region)

Job Description: IWG, formerly Regus, seeks to manage accounting and operational activities within the Tax Accounting Team. Responsibilities include ensuring all accounting entries and reconciliations are prepared accurately and by deadlines; supporting a strong environment of financial control; coordinating with Regus/IWG and Regus Partners; and assisting auditors and legal authorities as needed.

• Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month-end close or defined deadlines
• Review data accuracy to prevent unforeseen financial impacts
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely
• Prepare balance sheet accounts and reconciliations as part of monthly review
• Provide full support to stakeholders and ensure work quality meets expectations
• Collaborate with GSC teams; assist auditors and legal authorities
• Ensure proper segregation of duties and compliant control environment
• Assist with migrations and acquisitions, integrating processes into standardized model

Qualifications

• Experience in financial accounting and reporting in a blue-chip multinational PLC or shared service environment
• At least 3 years in BPO or multinational finance and accounting
• Strong MS Excel knowledge

Working conditions

• Mid-shift with regular evenings and weekends as required

Salary

Php 24,000.00 – Php 26,000.00 per month with benefits including flextime and work from home; supplemental pay includes 13th month salary, overtime, and bonus.
