Portfolio Risk Officer As a Portfolio Risk Officer, you will develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the wholesale business, providing portfolio insights on concentrations and surfacing emerging risks with impact assessments. You will also provide timely escalations of existing and emergent risks to the wholesale credit risk management chain and the Wholesale Banking Segment leadership. How You’ll Contribute Perform regular reviews, analysis, and monitoring of the wholesale credit portfolio through report generation, stress testing, and data analysis to proactively identify emergent and existing risks. Understand the wholesale business of SBC, including policies, guidelines, manuals, and portfolio profile, and coordinate with the segment to support profitable growth with appropriate risk management insights. Communicate effectively the overall performance and risk assessment of the wholesale portfolio based on portfolio data, market information, and economic factors to raise awareness across Management and support decision‑making and strategy formulation. Ensure monitoring aligns with risk appetite. Plan task execution through time allocation, prioritization, and calculated decision‑making to achieve optimal execution of job functions. Perform other related tasks assigned from time to time. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or accounting. At least 7 years of relevant experience in Banking, Credit Card Companies, FinTech, BPO, Leasing/Financing Institutions, or Telecommunications. Background in Risk Management principles and familiarity with wholesale products such as leasing, treasury, trust, and investment banking. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, and R. Highly analytical with strong programming and report creation skills. Project management and presentation skills.
