Key Responsibilities Process mortgage loan applications from data entry, submission and to final settlement Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and meet all compliance standards. Completion of application in relation to: grant applications, and discharge forms, First home Owner Grant Review loan documents and application materials for accuracy and completeness, including verifying income, assets, and credit consumer reports. Coordinate with borrowers, brokers and lenders stakeholders to gather required documentation to resolve any outstanding lender requirements Complete complex income calculations both PAYG and Self employed income Complete servicing calculators and knowledge of Lender portals Complete Pricing requests across multiple lenders for new and existing borrowing Utilise proficiency in software applications such as Apply On Line, Simplology, Loan App to facilitate efficient loan processing. Perform valuations and assess property information to calculate loan-to-value ratios and property eligibility. Understanding complex loan structures and loan types (such as multiple applicants, SMSF, trust structures) Managing the fulfillment of lender Assist in MIRs and any conditional Approval requirements Provide exceptional customer service by addressing borrower inquiries and concerns throughout the loan application process. Undertakes any other task or duties as deemed necessary by the management to achieve business goals Assisting with ad hoc office tasks Qualifications Bachelor Degree Certificate IV Financing & Mortgage Brokering preferred not essential Must have at least 1 year of experience with Australian mortgage brokerage/loan processing Previous experience in end-to-end mortgage loan processing, with a strong understanding of loan origination, underwriting, and settlements Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy and compliance in a high-volume processing environment. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Non negotiable skills Strong understanding of loan structures and lender servicing Assessing the borrowers’ funding position for a property purchase Analysing and researching bank policies and credit policies for lender options that align with the needs and objective of the borrower Ability to complete lender servicing calculators Packaging and submission of customer application to lender. This includes interpreting lender credit requirements to ensure the appropriate supporting documents are held and provided to the lender.
