Residential Credit Analyst (AU Mortgage, WFH)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (06:00 AM to 03:00 PM PHT)

Overview

The purpose of a Credit Analyst Residential is to assist Australian mortgage brokers with administrative tasks to prepare, process and track loan applications. The role requires you to communicate with relevant stakeholders, prepare documentation, keep systems and CRMs updated, and follow a loan application from pre-submission to post-approval within required timeframes. This role also contributes to making the overall customer experience a smooth and streamlined process, working closely with the client and broker to research lenders, products and policies to suit the clients requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Closely workshop with brokers to package the deal ensuring that every submission is structured optimally and aligns with lender policies and client needs.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit submissions for a variety of lending scenarios, including refinances, purchases, multiple-securities, multiple applicants, SMSF and bridging finance.
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify financial details.
  • NCCP Compliance checks and transcribing notes from summaries to detailed responses.
  • Understand and interpret complex financials (self-employed, SMSF, trusts and company).
  • Complete lender servicing calculators and living expense analysis to assess borrowing capacity.
  • Research lenders with policies that suit client requirements and provide guidance to ensure compliance and optimal loan structuring.
  • Order valuations and communicate with valuation firms as needed.
  • Pricing requests across multiple lenders for new applications and settled loans.
  • Generate and interpret comprehensive credit reports.
  • Assist in mitigating MIRs, Conditional Approvals and Settlement Conditions.
  • Cross-check approval and settlement documents to ensure alignment with client requirements per submission.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, lending products and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV Financing & Mortgage Broking
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • More than 4 years of experience in an Australian mortgage broking industry specializing in AU loan processing
  • Strong understanding of complex loan structures and loan types (multiple applicants, multiple securities, SMSF, company and trust lending, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of various income streams and ability in income calculations for PAYG, SMSF, company and trust financials
  • Experience with data entry of client information to MyCRM (LMG CRM system) and data entry of loan applications into MyCRM and Apply Online (AOL), Simpology, or direct to lenders
  • Experience generating application paperwork (First Home Buyers, Discharge forms)
  • Experience using aggregator CRMs such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex or Salestrekker
  • Proficiency in IT software, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (including Gmail/Outlook)
  • Experience with Project/Task Management Tools (Monday.com, Trello, Airtable, etc.)

  • Experience with an LMG brokerage working with multiple brokers in a fast-paced environment and MyCRM software
