Position Summary: The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer assists the System Power Business unit in developing and continuously managing all relevant analytics. The role collects, analyzes, and builds data models to measure the impact of initiatives, providing leaders at all levels with actionable insight. Working closely with business and cross‑national teams, the developer designs and implements dashboards, reports, and the broader information landscape available to the business. Core Responsibilities: Perform deep‑dive analyses into specific issues and provide insight & recommendations to appropriate parties. Leverage warehoused and real‑time SAP & Oracle data to build dashboards and tools useful to BU leadership, including coding or creating/updating stored procedures. Ensure BI tools are fully leveraged, interfacing closely with technology partners to manage the analytical environment, acquire data sets, and develop production applications. Deliver analyses and provide recommendations to cross‑functional partners that support the company’s strategic direction, value creation, and resource focus. Leverage Excel, Power BI, and other presentation tools to showcase data. Collaborate directly with the business teams to understand performance drivers, trends, and deliver insights, recommendations, and interpretations of new data. Proactively identify needs and take initiative to accomplish projects. Design reports and dashboards for business consumption and oversee production development. Perform pro forma modeling and ad hoc analyses. Document, share, and train best practices among the team and with business partners. Keep up to date on best visualization practices and dashboard designs. Maintain standardized templates for reports and dashboards and ensure consistency. Define data needs and sources; evaluate data quality and work with the data services team to extract, transform, and load data for analytic discovery projects. Utilize statistical and data visualization packages to recommend approaches to complex business problems. Analyze and communicate the effectiveness of new initiatives, drawing insights and recommendations for performance improvement. Use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to support continuous improvement. Analyze initiatives and events utilizing transaction‑level data. Provide continuous, data‑driven reports on customer behavior to support management in improving quality, reducing cost, enhancing experience, and driving growth. Demonstrate the Company’s core and growth values in all job functions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Sciences, or Business Analytics. Working knowledge of diversified manufacturing or global environments. Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Power BI. 3+ years structuring, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets. 3+ years SQL, Python, and/or R. 3+ years building BI solutions to support performance measurement and process improvement. 3+ years experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI). Experience with data transformation tools preferred (Alteryx, Knime). Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with Automation/RPA beneficial. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools beneficial.
