Overview

A Car Salesman is responsible for selling vehicles to customers while delivering excellent customer service and meeting sales targets. This role involves guiding customers through the car-buying process, providing product knowledge, and creating a positive purchasing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers as they arrive and build rapport to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct test drives and explain the features, specifications, and benefits of vehicles.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections professionally and confidently.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle based on their requirements and budget.
  • Present financing and leasing options clearly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales while adhering to dealership guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Stay updated on the latest vehicle models, features, and specifications.
  • Understand the competitive market and highlight advantages of the dealership\'s offerings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college education is a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
  • Interpersonal skills; financial literacy; written and verbal communication skills; car knowledge.
Work Environment
  • Showroom and dealership setting with occasional outdoor work (test drives, lot visits).
  • Fast-paced and target-driven environment.
