Duties & Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all laboratory sections (Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, etc.) Ensure that all laboratory tests are conducted following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. Review, verify, and release test results when necessary. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and reagents. Implement quality control and quality assurance programs. Train, schedule, and supervise Medical Technologists, Phlebotomists, and Laboratory Aides. Ensure laboratory compliance with DOH, ISO, and other accrediting bodies. Prepare reports, inventories, and updates for hospital management. Represent the department in meetings and coordinate with other hospital units. Act as liaison between the laboratory and other medical departments. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all laboratory operations. Qualifications Licensed Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) in good standing with the PRC. With at least 3–5 years of relevant hospital laboratory experience (supervisory or senior MedTech experience preferred). Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or equivalent degree. With leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. Knowledgeable in DOH and ISO laboratory standards and protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Willing to perform additional administrative duties as OIC. Preferred With training in Quality Assurance, Laboratory Management, or Biosafety. Experience in preparing laboratory compliance documents for DOH or external audits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
