Landscape Maintenance Specialist

Hired candidates will have the following opportunities: Competitive salary based on relevant skills and work experience Learning and development opportunities Career development opportunities for high potential and top performing employees QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or any Environmental related courses Has at least six (6) months’ work experience in landscape maintenance operations with exposure to on‑site works, plant health, and pest management Knowledgeable about horticultural practices, particularly in plant care, propagation and landscape maintenance practices Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting, inventory management, data analysis, and communication purposes Knowledgeable in tree pruning, lawn care, and pest management Familiar with tools, equipment, and machinery used in landscape maintenance Able to work collaboratively with a diverse team of horticulturists and landscape architects, landscape maintenance personnel, internal and external clients Physically fit to perform hands‑on tasks such as plant care, equipment handling, and site inspections. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Support and Planning: Assists the Landscape Maintenance Officer in planning and optimizing maintenance work program and resources to maintain overall plant health and quality Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel (maintenance activities and propagation) to ensure target agreed in the work program are achieved as scheduled Provides technical support on horticultural practices, including soil testing, irrigation, and pest management Assists in the preparation of landscape maintenance proposals and site assessment Monitoring and Record-Keeping: Monitors and maintains records of plant propagation and equipment, tools and materials ensuring accurate and up to date inventory and timely replenishment of materials Monitors personnel attendance, performance, and adherence to safety protocols and best practices Monitors the regular preventive maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring all are working efficiently Maintenance Operations and Reporting: Conducts site supervision on maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to horticultural best practices Facilitates toolbox meetings to align work program, operational goals, safety protocols, and other assigned tasks Conducts regular site assessment to check plant health and quality and completion of assigned tasks Produces landscape maintenance report, site incident report, and other related documentation in coordination with the Landscape Maintenance Officer Collaborates with landscape maintenance officer in resolving operational challenges and creating recommendation for improvements on actual site situation Prepares billing memo including overtime works and other additional works, ensuring accuracy and timely processing Procurement & Resource Management: Assists in the procurement process through materials canvassing, costing and purchase request preparation for needed maintenance equipment, tools and materials to meet operational requirements Coordinates with purchasing department, suppliers and/or service providers to request costing and other procurement details to have the best value Ensures proper documentation of procurement records, purchase orders, work orders, delivery receipt, sales invoices, and transmittals Personnel Management and Support: Assists in the recruitment process through trade testing, screening and assessment of maintenance personnel to meet operational requirements Assists the Landscape Maintenance Officer in coordinating with the Human Resources Department in the landscape maintenance personnel hiring process Provides technical guidance and on the job training for new and existing landscape maintenance personnel to ensure that they are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks efficiently Customer Coordination and Support: Coordinates with Property Management Office to align landscape maintenance work program with property management goals Endorse to the PMO the newly hired personnel for orientation and to ensure they are acknowledged by the property management group Coordinates with the supplier the delivery of equipment, tools, and materials Other Responsibilities: Performs other tasks as assigned by the Landscape Maintenance Officer to meet project requirements Provides horticultural support to landscape architects and PMO as needed in coordination with the landscape maintenance officer #J-18808-Ljbffr
