ROLE SUMMARY We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Developer focusing on Power BI Reports and Dashboards Development within our Data and Analytics team. This role supports the design and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions across the organization, primarily for the Growth and Marketing teams. This position is ideal for someone passionate about data presentation, storytelling, and insights who wants to grow their technical and analytical skills within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will work as part of the Applications and Development group, collaborating across business functions to deliver high-quality, impactful reports and dashboards that drive data-informed decision-making. In this role we are looking for someone very comfortable on the Reporting and Business Intelligence side, who understands data models, data normalization, and the database structure in Microsoft Power Platform Dataverse, Azure SQL Server and Power BI as well as how to aggregate data from multiple sources. Much of the reporting will be in Power BI, but the data analytics and insights side is the key to success. Strong understanding of various business functions like Finance, Sales, HR, Customer Service, Delivery are essential for this role. We are over 4,500 staff globally and are growing rapidly. The Data Developer will work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting needs are successfully implemented and aligned with business goals. SKILLS Experience developing reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights Strong understanding of business functions such as Sales, Marketing, and related domains Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI , including data models, DAX, and visualizations Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL Queries (SELECT, JOIN, UNION, GROUP BY, etc.) Experience working with Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, and Dataverse as data sources for Power BI (Exposure is a plus) Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills Hands-on experience with data cleaning and transformation using Power Query or similar tools Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies within the data and reporting field Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and promote a data-driven culture Agile/iterative approach to delivering outcomes to the business Understanding of basic data governance principles Knowledge of data modeling concepts (Desirable but not essential) Familiarity with Master Data Management principles (Desirable but not essential) Understanding of enterprise data integrations into SQL Data Warehouse and Data Lakes (Desirable but not essential) RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, shared datasets, semantic models, and dataflows Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that meet their needs Develop and maintain Power BI data models to enable easy and consistent report creation Optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting performance Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preparation to support accurate and reliable reporting Review and enhance existing reports and dashboards while promoting shared datasets and reusable components Develop and maintain technical documentation for designed solutions Create ad-hoc data models, reports, and analyses to support business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote Power BI as the primary reporting platform Create and maintain user stories in Azure DevOps and deliver outcomes through Agile sprints Support and troubleshoot production issues related to reporting as required Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and assist in training business users on Power BI self-service reporting EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree with a strong statistical, technical, or analytical component: e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Statistics Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement or Finance and Operations, Data Engineering, or similar certifications (Desirable but not essential) BENEFITS A competitive salary Health Insurance, and Life Insurance coverage 21 annual paid leaves Annual increase (Annual Performance Review) Tenure Recognition Program Access to certifications and courses from Ab2 Institute of Accounting 20+ options of free coffee and chocolate drinks Billiards, table tennis, or foosball in our breakout room A genuinely diverse, caring, supportive and high achieving team environment.
