The Bank Operations Specialist is responsible for performing back-office banking processes, including deposit maintenance, monetary processing, return items, and compliance-related functions. The role supports daily branch and department operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards. This position contributes to efficient transaction processing, maintains accurate documentation, and provides high-quality support to internal and external customers. Responsibilities: Perform daily back-office operations related to deposits, monetary transactions, returns, and adjustments. Research, resolve, and upscale complex operational issues in a timely and professional manner. Process ACH transactions, returned items, and compliance-related exceptions according to internal guidelines. Monitor and coordinate workflows related to deposit processing and product maintenance. Communicate and follow up with departments to ensure completion of operational tasks and issue resolution. Maintain individual performance KPIs, ensuring compliance with service-level standards. Support audit and compliance reviews, adhering to NACHA, VISA, and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in back-office operations. Provide excellent internal customer service, demonstrating professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years in banking operations experience, including deposit, monetary, or compliance-related functions. Has background in banking products, operations, and regulatory standards. Familiarity with ACH Transfer and electronic payments, VISA (card transaction rules and date security), and consumer protection in electronic funds transfer compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
