Role : Solutions Architect

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Schedule : Morning shift

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT infrastructure practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards methodology.
• Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
• Assure solutions not only are fit for the specific purpose but also closely aligned with the standard guidelines of technology solutions.
• Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Creating and maintaining or enhancing procedures, processes and designs for a computer system.
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Providing supervision, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
• Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
• Provide analysis of security protection technologies as necessary.

Knowledge & Skills Required

• Background to both PHP/.Net for at least 3-5 years.
• A background in ReactNative will be an advantage.
• Solid experience with different technology stacks such as PHP, .Net, MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL and related technologies.
• Great communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt to new teams, technical environments, and project requirements.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with software development methodologies.
• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
• Previous project management experience is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of coding languages.
• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
