Lease Accounting Analyst – Chevron Location: 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines (hybrid work model) About The Role This exciting opportunity for a Lease Accounting Analyst will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. The role supports the global lease reporting process, ensuring consistent application of lease accounting policies, compliance with SOX controls, and accurate month‑end close activities. Responsibilities Contracts review and data abstraction. Lease data maintenance and lease system administration. Ensure consistent application of the Lease Accounting Policy. Ensure compliance with relevant SOX controls. Month‑end close activities and accounts reconciliation. Disclosure reporting for US GAAP. Provide support to local BU Finance on IFRS lease reporting requirements. Support ongoing lease system migration (testing and quality check of migrated data). Assist in migration and standardization of lease classification and lease cost coding processes. Apply productivity tools and emerging technologies (Data Modelling, Power Automate, Powerapps, RPA, Data Analytics, etc.) to all existing processes. Continuous improvement of lease processes. Coordinate IUAS‑wide projects, initiatives, or periodic routine tasks. Ensure adherence to all safety and compliance requirements. Set performance agreements and monitor results through Performance Management Process. Participate in professional development activities by attending trainings and reading relevant materials. Maintain updated process documentation and ensure accounting records remain compliant with legal requirements and company retention policy. Attend relevant meetings. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related accounting courses. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills.
