The Payroll GL Analyst primary role is to perform payroll accounting related GL transactions for all legal vehicles covered by payroll under EMEA region following the EMEA shift of 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Manila Time. The job profile classification is Hybrid: flexibility to work in the office at least three days per week and remotely up to two days per week. The analyst may also be involved in special projects to support management and reports directly to the Payroll Accounting Lead. Responsibilities Work in the EMEA shift (from 1 PM to 10 PM). Perform payroll accounting related entries, validation, and reports as required. Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive data. Manage general ledger and reconciliation and respond to finance related queries and proofing related queries. Ensure HRSS is compliant with all local regulatory and legal requirements related to the accounting transactions posted. Keep up-to-date knowledge on key HR and GL applications required to assist in processing payroll GL. Collaborate with Citibank’s vendor on any payroll GL related initiatives and errors while processing payroll. Support projects related to payroll accounting such as continual improvement and standardization of payroll GL operations. Review and update operating manual procedures yearly and when necessary. Partner with Citibank’s HR partners, business heads, and designated authorized officers to deliver efficient customer service. Adhere to Risk & Control policies and procedures and report possible gaps or breaches, ensuring internal controls are in place. Meet all SLAs and KPIs. Perform other related work as assigned by the direct Line Manager or management to meet business needs. Accommodate both APAC and EMEA business requirements. Qualifications Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or any business related courses. 2 years of GL experience with strong knowledge in accounting and/or proofing related work experience is preferred. Knowledgeable in various general ledger and sub ledger systems. Proficient in the use of office applications (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint). Flexible and team-oriented, willing to learn and share experience with team members. Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter and able to work independently in a fast-paced global environment. Demonstrate multi-tasking ability, handle high volume of work, effective time management, and ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines. Administrative documentation and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong partnership with stakeholders. Education Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any business related courses.
