About the role We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager (CPA) to join our dynamic team at MANILA BANKERS LIFE INSURANCE CORP. In this full‑time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organisation. What you'll be doing Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports to support strategic decision‑making Oversee the month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and mentorship Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Ensure the company's accounting systems and controls are effective and efficient Stay up‑to‑date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and advise the organisation accordingly What we're looking for A qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role Proven track record of managing the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify areas for improvement Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite Thorough understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations, particularly in the insurance industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams Apply now to become our next Accounting Manager (CPA). #J-18808-Ljbffr
