Responsibilities Oversee the full spectrum of management accounting, including revenue collection, budgeting, procurement, and ensuring compliance with government regulatory bodies (BIR, Insurance Commission, SEC, and DOLE). Manage and prepare payroll ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Guide, mentor, motivate, and supervise the accounting junior team in their daily tasks and professional development. Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, including filing of accounting and compliance documents in hard copy and soft copy formats. Lead and supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for accurate and timely processing. Coordinate quarterly and annual closing of accounts and prepare financial reports. Collaborate closely with the accounting team members for account analysis and reconciliation. Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA certification is NOT required but an advantage. At least 5 years supervisory or managerial accounting experience. Comprehensive experience in BIR Tax compliance in the Philippines. Experience in payroll management, government compliance, and day-to-day office administration. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to guide, mentor, motivate, and supervise junior team members effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
