We are seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team at Orion Dockyard Inc. in Orion, Bataan. This full-time position will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable and credit control processes, ensuring efficient cash flow and financial stability. Responsibilities Handling all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, follow-up on outstanding payments, and reconciliation of customer accounts Monitoring and managing the company's credit control procedures to minimize bad debts and maintain a healthy cash flow Preparing and analyzing aging reports, identifying potential credit risks, and recommending appropriate actions Liaising with customers to resolve billing inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and providing insights to support the accounting team Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company's accounting systems Supporting other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field At least 2 years of work-related experience Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices Familiarity with debit, credits, and core financial recording functions related to AR Proficiency with specific accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and general ledger systems Knowledge in bank reconciliation, BIR reports and financial statements Experience in recording of sales receipts, preparing and monitoring of cash position report Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills What we offer At Orion Dockyard Inc., we value our employees and strive to provide a rewarding and supportive work environment.
