Overview The Accounting Associate position is responsible for bookkeeping and handling Accounts Payable functions. Prepares finance and accounting documents in a timely manner. Responsibilities Process accounts and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits Handle purchasing process Generate reports detailing accounts payable status Prepare weekly disbursements to employees and suppliers Journalize and post to Xero/NetSuite of daily transactions Responsible in managing and documenting of files Other tasks as may be assigned Minimum Qualifications Must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance or Accountancy With 1–3 years of experience in Finance or related functions Experience in bookkeeping or Accounts Payable (at least 1 year) is an advantage, but fresh graduates are also welcome to apply With 1 year experience in payroll entries, annualization, and tax processing Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite, and skilled in Microsoft Excel Organized, detail-oriented, a team player, and able to work with minimal supervision Must possess a dynamic personality and strong attention to detail Willing to work on a hybrid set-up (combination of work-from-home and on-site work) #J-18808-Ljbffr
