Overview

General Accountant with strong knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) is sought by Intelegencia. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years of solid General Ledger (GL) accounting experience, including recording journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities
  • Record accurate and timely journal entries.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage AR and AP processes, including invoice posting, payment processing, and collections monitoring.
  • Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and financial reviews.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes, and audit support.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global delivery model is a plus.
