People Business Partner (PBP) – Officer Company: MicroSourcing Location: MOA, Pasay City, Philippines Work Setup: Midshift / Onsite Reports To: Head of People Strategy (Functional), Site/Cluster Operational Leader (Matrix) Job Summary The People Business Partner is a key strategic role that serves as a consultant and advisor to the business unit, aligning people‑related practices with operational goals. Embedded in a matrix structure, this role partners with operational leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, translating business strategy into actionable people initiatives, and leveraging the specialized expertise of People Strategy Centers of Excellence and People Shared Services. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Strategic Partner & Business Acumen – Understand business unit strategy and translate priorities into people strategy. Workforce Planning – Partner with leaders to analyze talent needs, identify skills gaps, and develop proactive plans. Organizational Design – Collaborate on design and restructuring to optimize roles and team structures. Data‑Driven Insights – Use HR and operational data to diagnose challenges and provide evidence‑based recommendations.Change Management – Facilitate change initiatives, guiding managers and employees through transitions. Leadership Coaching – Coach leaders on performance management, employee development, and culture building. Policy Implementation – Lead rollout and application of new HR projects and policies. Employee Relations – Provide first‑line guidance for complex employee relations issues and ensure consistent policy application. Talent Development – Identify and facilitate development needs within the unit. Engagement & Morale – Foster a positive and engaging environment aligned with company values. HR Service Delivery – Liaise between the business unit and People Shared Services for all transactional HR services (e.g., new hire orientation, contract amendments, temporary job assignments, attendance processing). Process Adherence – Ensure all HR processes are followed correctly and provide guidance on shared services model. Compliance Oversight – Collaborate with People Shared Services to maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR generalist or HR Business Partner roles, preferably in fast‑paced environments. Strong understanding of business principles and HR best practices. Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in a matrix reporting structure highly desirable. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage change and drive organizational effectiveness. Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
