Key duties include developing strategic account plans, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, negotiating contracts, and resolving client issues by coordinating with internal teams. KAMs also monitor client metrics and provide reports on account health to stakeholders. Key responsibilities Client relationship management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure loyalty and satisfaction. Strategic account planning : Develop and execute strategic plans to meet client objectives and maximize revenue from key accounts. Revenue growth : Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Client advocacy : Act as the main point of contact for key clients, resolving issues and addressing inquiries proactively. Cross-functional coordination : Work with internal departments like sales, marketing, and logistics to ensure client needs are met and deadlines are fulfilled. Contract and negotiation : Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms. Performance analysis : Track and analyze key account metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights. Market awareness : Stay informed about client needs, market dynamics, and competitor activities to adapt strategies. Required skills and qualifications Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in account management or a related sales role. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to develop strategic plans and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
