JOB SUMMARY A Legal Admin & Records Specialist provides crucial support to attorneys by assisting with the preparation, research, and management of legal cases in the Legal & Compliance Department (LCD). This role involves handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, such as drafting documents, managing case files, conducting legal research, and communicating with clients. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides administrative support to lawyers and managers and enhances office effectiveness Manages all administrative responsibilities in the department Coordinates with the different divisions, units and departments Organizes and prepares what is necessary for meetings hosted by the department Disseminates information and announcements to other units of the LCD Does simple research work Organizes, types up, files, scans, records and keeps safe basic legal documents and correspondences Compiles, proofreads and edits drafts of contacts, leases, licenses, policies and other legal documents Analyzes and summarizes documents Prepares reports Answers and directs phone calls Maintains contact lists Monitors deadlines and manages calendar and meetings Uploading and processing of different requests in Lark Other tasks that may be assigned by the Legal Head and/or LCD Unit Managers Organizes meetings, conferences, and departmental events Books travel arrangements, accommodations, and prepares itineraries (if necessary) of the LCD personnel Manages office calendar, ensuring proper scheduling of appointments and meetings Assists in the hiring process by managing applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees Keeps employee records up to date and assists in HR-related tasks as needed for the department Handles outgoing employees’ accountabilities, to safekeep and turnover them to another hired employee #J-18808-Ljbffr
