Your impact

The Senior/Lead Consultant (for xECM) collaborates with clients to understand business and technical requirements, then designs and implements integrated digital solutions using OpenText technologies. Responsible for the full lifecycle of a solution—from initial consulting and requirements gathering to architecture, implementation, and documentation. Contributes to pre-sales activities by creating proposals and work estimates.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with enterprise architects, business and IT stakeholders to understand the client’s business, technology landscape, and requirements; define integrated digital solutions
  • Consult with clients to advocate and gain acceptance of digital solutions that leverage OpenText ECM/xECM and other OpenText technologies, highlighting business value
  • Plan and conduct business workshops with client stakeholders to elicit and document requirements for complex digital solutions
  • Architect and implement OpenText Content Server, xECM for O365, xECM Core Framework, AGA for Microsoft SharePoint, ECM, Brava, Blazon, Archive Server, OTDS, sMFT, CS WebServices & Rest APIs, System Center, and related integrations
  • Identify design options, provide analysis, pros/cons, and recommend best-fit implementation approach
  • Create comprehensive documentation to support the solution through SDLC (Business Requirements, Functional Specification/Solution Blueprint, High/Low Level Design, Deployment and Configuration guides, etc.)
  • Translate implementation approach into component/work breakdown structures with high-level estimates and schedules
  • Prepare solution and technical proposals to support presales opportunities
What you need to succeed
  • 2–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP (techno-functional) and/or SuccessFactors (development)
  • Experience with OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, and Directory Services installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations is a plus
  • Experience designing medium to complex digital enterprise solutions in enterprise content management, upgrades, and migrations into OpenText Content Server
  • Strong experience with OpenText ECM and xECM and related technologies
  • Excellent customer-facing skills including articulation, engagement, influencing, relationship building, and negotiation with a strategic focus
  • Willingness to work in shifts (ASPAC, EMEA, or US)
