Key Responsibilities Prepare, file and monitor all statutory compliance with BIR, PEZA, LGUs and other related institutions Assist in contesting assessments involving national, local and real property taxes including preparation of position papers and protest letters; follow-ups and discussions with revenue officers on their findings Provide opinion on tax implications of different business transactions Advise and assist with the registration and reporting requirements of government agencies relating to tax and/or investment incentives granted under various investment laws and regulations as administered by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Finance, Board of Investments, Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Clark Development Corporation, Local Governments, etc. Handle all other BIR correspondences and submissions (e.g. Tax Treaty Relief Application, BIR rulings, Application for Computerized Accounting System, etc.) Other ad hoc activities as the need arises Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Knowledge in Philippine accounting and taxation Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other spreadsheets Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at First Gen Corporation by 2x Get notified about new Tax Associate jobs in Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
