Responsibilities
  • Gathers information through site inspections, mall coordination meetings, leasing kits, research, and information on design requirements; prepares architectural and civil works designs, specifications, scope of works, cost estimates and timetables for each project.
  • Drafts plans for architectural and engineering works based on designs, specifications, scope of works, following design requirements, established standards and mall construction guidelines.
  • Takes-off quantities and prepares bills of materials; estimates labor costs and overall project costs; prepares cost estimates, bid documents, invitations to bid, and other procurement forms.
  • Attends pre-bid conferences; explains design details to contractors; analyzes and verifies bids for architectural and civil works; attends pre-award conferences to clarify requirements.
  • Conducts research on materials and new developments and their applicability for projects.
  • Manages construction plans and designs within approved standard practices and parameters; ensures alignment with budgetary constraints and company, building and government requirements.

  • Ensures that all design and plans are implemented in accordance with company, building and government requirements.
Standard Requirements and Practices
  • Periodic project management at construction sites.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Architecture, preferably licensed.
  • Five (5) years of experience in design, development and project supervision of development works for building interiors, spaces and fixtures for retail commercial establishments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering programs; experience with material take-off, cost estimates and technical reports.
  • Agile Project Management, Vendor management; highly analytical with good communication skills.
  • Physically fit for office and construction site environments.
