Overview

A Reservation Manager oversees and manages booking processes for a hotel, restaurant, or travel service, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience. They handle customer inquiries, coordinate with other departments, and optimize booking systems to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor reservation systems to ensure accurate bookings.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with sales, front desk, and operations teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Optimize room or service availability to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare reservation reports and analyze trends for improvement.
  • Train and supervise reservation staff, ensuring high customer service standards.
Education
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Experience
  • Proven experience in reservations or customer service.
  • Prior management experience is an advantage.
Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Other: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
