Job Description

Regulatory Compliance & Government Relations

  • Manage product registration and regulatory submissions with FDA Philippines.
  • Serve as primary liaison with FDA, DOH, DTI, and other relevant government agencies.

Labeling and Claims Governance
  • Review and approve product labels and health claims in compliance with FDA standards.
  • Ensure adherence to the Milk Code for infant and follow-on formula products.

Advertising and Promotional Compliance
  • Oversee regulatory clearance of promotional materials through the Ad Standards Council (ASC).
  • Ensure all consumer and HCP-facing content meets regulatory requirements.

Product Lifecycle and Regulatory Strategy
  • Provide regulatory input during product development, reformulation, and import planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment across operations.

Documentation Management and Internal Training
  • Maintain regulatory records, certificates, and audit documentation.
  • Conduct compliance training for internal teams on applicable local regulations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline. Licensed and non-licensed candidates will be considered.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in regulatory affairs, ideally within infant nutrition, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of FDA Philippines processes, DOH regulations, EO 51 (Milk Code), and ASC pre-clearance protocols. Deep familiarity with infant milk formula regulations and advertising standards.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead regulatory strategy, drive compliance initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. Must be solution-oriented and capable of operating independently in a pioneering role.
  • Role Significance: Will serve as the regulatory lead supporting the launch and establishment of the business in the Philippines. Expected to build foundational regulatory systems and relationships with key agencies.
