Job Description Develop and execute a comprehensive government affairs strategy aligned with the company's goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government, regulatory agencies, and NGOs. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the business. Advise senior leadership on legal and policy matters affecting operations and strategic initiatives. Represent the company in public consultations, hearings, and industry forums. Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Communications, etc.) to ensure alignment on policy positions and advocacy efforts. Lead engagement efforts with trade associations and multi-stakeholder platforms. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in lobbying and advocacy activities. The Successful Applicant At least 10 years of experience in government affairs, legal advisory, or public policy, preferably in FMCG or other regulated industries. Strong network and proven engagement with government agencies, NGOs, and regulatory bodies. Strategic and analytical thinker with strong legal and policy insight. Excellent communicator and negotiator, able to influence diverse stakeholders. Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
