Overview

Payroll Analyst - HR Operations - PH at ByteDance, Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, output and statutory reporting.
  • Participate in the improvement and implementation of payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support payroll and benefits processes landing according to new policies or law and regulation changes.
  • Provide payroll reporting and analysis with the Finance team and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA.
  • Develop relationships with authorities, such as Social Security and Tax authorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to elevate the employee experience.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hands-on, strong functional knowledge of payroll and tax.
  • Proven track record in payroll verification and checking skills.
  • Experience in legal and compliance audits in payroll (income taxes, statutory social securities).
  • Strong influence and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 years of in-house payroll operation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Vendor management and project management skills.
  • Experience in payroll system implementation.
  • Highly proficient and excellent communication skills.
