About the Role London Outsourced is a boutique contracting agency focused on connecting our clients in America, Europe, and Asia with highly talented individuals, with a team size of around 20-30 employees based all over the Philippines. Accounting and Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial stability, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role covers end-to-end bookkeeping, cash flow tracking, tax compliance, expense management, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of improving internal finance processes through modern tools and automation. This position may also provide financial and administrative support to sister companies under London Outsourced Inc. , especially in cases of company restructuring, new service rollouts, or product expansions. Key Responsibilities 1. Bookkeeping, Payroll & Financial Operations Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all accounts. Prepare and manage the end-to-end payroll processes for the company. Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries. Oversee allowances, reimbursements, daily cash flow, and various company expenses. Manage expense tracking and implement cost control measures. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee pay concerns promptly. Handle QuickBooks administration and related accounting software tools. 2. Tax Compliance & Regulatory Filings Ensure full compliance with Philippine financial regulations and tax laws. Prepare and file BIR returns, VAT, and other statutory requirements accurately and on time. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed. Monitor changes in tax rules and advise management on implications. Prepare year-end reports and assist in annual audit preparation. 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Assist in preparing and monitoring company budgets and forecasts. Develop and maintain a “budget vs actual” tracker to monitor performance. Conduct variance analysis to explain financial fluctuations. Support management with financial projections and investment assessments. Contribute insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency. 4. Reporting & Internal Controls Generate accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Identify discrepancies, suggest improvements, and implement internal controls. Prepare management reports summarizing key financial indicators. Collaborate with department heads to gather financial data for decision-making. Support ongoing financial health checks and cost optimization initiatives. 5. Systems & Process Improvement Explore and implement SaaS or automation tools to streamline financial processes. Maintain and improve QuickBooks setup and integrations with other tools. Help design finance dashboards or reports for leadership visibility. Recommend process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Performance Indicators Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, invoice creation, and compliance. Effective and consistent management of cash flow and expense controls. Successful completion of audits with minimal adjustments. Implementation of improved systems or automation processes. Contribution to maintaining and improving the company’s overall financial health. Qualifications Min 1–2 years of experience in a finance, admin, or accounting support role Strong knowledge of basic finance operations such as invoicing, tracking expenses, and budget management Excellent skills in Google Sheets or Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data tracking) Familiarity with online accounting tools like Xero, QuickBooks, or Wave (preferred but not required) Comfortable working across multiple businesses or teams in a remote setup Strong organizational and communication skills Proactive, self-managed, and detail-oriented Preferred Experience Experience working in a startup, agency, or fast-paced multi-entity environment Familiarity with Philippine payroll or tax processes (with support from external accountants) Exposure to financial reporting or forecasting tools Experience supporting founders or department heads with budget or sales tracking Growth Opportunities This role offers strong learning potential in multi-entity financial operations, tools automation, and operational budgeting.
