Graduate Electrical Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our Manila office. This role is open for Electrical engineering graduates with passion and interest to pursue a career in designing electrical systems of buildings (commercial, high rise, healthcare, and technology and data centre projects). This role is responsible for running of small projects. The successful candidate will research, develop, design, and assume responsibility for coordination and monitoring of engineering project services for Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities. He/she will also prepare specification modifications using MS Word or Excel, ensuring engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards. Responsibilities Responsible for the running of small projects. Researches, develops, designs and assumes responsibility for coordination and monitoring of engineering project services for Mechanical or Electrical installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc Develops and specifies applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes paper Surveys tests and reports on existing electrical/mechanical installations Specifies activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements Represents Company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors teams Preparation of specification modifications (word or excel) Ensure engineering calculations and drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards Responsible for validation of Intermediate & Graduate Engineer input into designs Works on defined tasks under limited supervision with some autonomy Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work Responsible for producing routine letters and/or reports and other documents from standard templates. Responsible for the effective organisation of information and documentation, e.g. filing, QA etc. Responsible for meeting agreed deadline Requirements Basic working knowledge of CAD functionality Basic understanding of key health and safety issues and legislation Knowledge in MS Office such as Word, Excel Ability to use IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software Basic understanding of BS standards Ability to prioritise own workload Ability to work on deadlines Ability to prioritise own workload Qualifications Has a relevant degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualification or sufficient experience. Student member of an appropriate professional body, such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, IET, MinstMC, MIHEEM.
