Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic API/Integration Lead Developer to architect and manage integrations across the ACUVUE Checkout and Shop platforms. This role is critical to ensuring seamless data flow between internal systems (SAP, CRM, SFMC, Reltio, 3P Rewards, Magento) and external services. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of APIs and integration pipelines that support order processing, customer communications, and operational reporting. Key Responsibilities Integration Architecture & Development: Design and implement scalable, secure APIs to connect ACUVUE Checkout and Shop with SAP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Reltio, Merkle, Magento, and other systems. Lead the development of integration workflows for order lifecycle management, including order management, patient management, customer management, data performance metrics, CRM, invoices. Own the Checkout & Shop API catalog and processes to ensure real‑time synchronization across platforms. System Interoperability Ensure robust data exchange between: Checkout platforms Shop Magento platform (product catalog, cart, and checkout) CRM SFDC SAP (order records, invoice generation) SFMC (email/SMS campaigns) Implement and maintain middleware or integration layers as needed. Testing & Optimization Develop automated unit tests for API endpoints and integration flows. Monitor performance and reliability of integrations, optimizing for latency, throughput, and fault tolerance. Documentation & Governance Maintain comprehensive documentation for all APIs and integration points. Establish and enforce best practices for API versioning, security, and data governance. Collaborate with Business Analysts to align technical solutions with business requirements. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Lead Engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional teams. Provide technical mentorship to developers working on integration tasks. Interface with external vendors and partners to coordinate integration efforts. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in API development and system integration. Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration frameworks. Experience with RESTful and GraphQL development with AWS, specifically API Gateway and Lambda. Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT), data security, and compliance standards. Preferred Skills: Ecommerce and medical devices or healthcare Agile development experience and strong collaboration skills.
