PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Verification & Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and verifying patient insurance information and resolving incomplete or inaccurate documentation to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities- Validate patient insurance information, including coverage details and policy status.
- Cross-check information against data provided by healthcare facilities or insurance companies.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in insurance documentation and billing information.
- Gather missing information as required to complete medical claim forms.
- Update patient information and resolve missing information across multiple systems.
- Communicate with insurance companies, medical facilities, and internal departments to obtain missing or additional information.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, sales representatives, and interdepartmental staff through effective verbal and written communication.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of insurance verification and billing processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities as required to meet business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or education in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in insurance verification, medical billing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in customer service, specializing in handling inbound and outbound calls with efficiency and professionalism.
- Proficient in medical coding systems and terminology (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Strong knowledge of insurance payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using spreadsheets and data entry systems, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.

Additional Details- Ideal start date: ASAP
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Philippine Time)
- Work Location: Remote (Quezon City, PH)
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: Php 30,000 to 35,000 per month
- Benefits: Contributions to PhilHealth, SSS, and Pag-IBIG
- Paid leave: Sick, Paternity, Annual, and Public holidays
- Monetary compensation: 13th-month pay and overtime
- New hires begin as contractors for the first 3 months before being reviewed for direct employment
- Requirements: All employees must undergo a background check, and continued employment is dependent on its outcome.
