Customer Service is responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing customer business through contract administration, customer orders, and problem resolution. Responsible for providing outsourced services to customers relating to medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or other services by acting as a liaison in problem-solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.
Job Summary
The Senior Representative, Customer Service Operations is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and managing accounts while providing sales support to field sales representatives. This role establishes, maintains and enhances customer service via contract administration, timely order fulfillment, and exemplary customer support including managing accounts and providing sales support to field sales representatives. It tracks demand and backorders, complaint and incident reporting and supports post-sales issue resolutions. The role works directly with customers to strengthen Cardinal Health's operational performance and relationships, and collaborates cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations teams to meet customer needs and optimize performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and support improvements in operational execution to meet service levels.
- Manage customer account activity including order fulfillment, backorders/substitutes, product change requests, new/lost business submissions and customer questions.
- Offer outsourced services related to invoicing, reimbursement and dispute resolution.
- Collect and review customer feedback, complaints, recalls and product returns; collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams.
- Identify customer trends and develop alternatives to support business and opportunities.
- Support process improvements in inventory, suppliers, cost control and profitability to enhance service.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to enable collaborative improvements in service.
- Communicate with customers and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
- Manage cases on reporting, backorders, complaints, pricing and product incidents.
- Support general sales by analyzing account histories and coordinating internal resources.
- Investigate anomalies in POS systems, website ordering, and customer complaints; guide customers to internal resources as needed.
- Support post-sales issue resolution as necessary.
