Job Family Group: Human Resources Jobs Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: October 2, 2025 Business unit: Human Resources Experience Level: Early Careers Job Description The HR Advisor is a member of the Latin America Operations team reporting to the Country Operations Team Leader. The role focuses on Excellent Employee Experience standards in performing local processes aligned with the principles of the data privacy, financial controls & data quality enabling the delivery of world class HR to the business. What’s the role The role of HR Advisor is to provide end to end HR Operations support to employees, line managers, local HR, and the larger HR Community. This includes, but is not limited to, the knowledge and execution of Global & Local HR Processes, in line with existing policies and procedures, assuring high quality data management in Shell People & Workday. As general support of operations: the HR Advisor is accountable for, but not limited to: Management of cases according to established ways of working, including: Using Salesforce tool to log queries and updates, create tickets and ensure closure of tickets WIP management, keeping customers updated on the status of open cases Taking ownership of end-to-end processes Handing-off cases to other teams in HR Operations as required Dealing with third party service providers Meeting established KPIs and SLAs. Timely escalation of complex queries to Specialists and Policy teams; acting as a country or process focal point; liaising with HR Business Partners, HR in the Country, Employees, and Line Managers, as required to resolve cases. Building partnerships within the larger HR Community by clarifying policies and procedures, giving and asking for updates on case status, gathering missing data necessary for case processing, identifying best practices and knowledge sharing. Representing the team on various forums and effectively presenting team's perspective; actively participate in local and global projects. Providing input for Knowledge Management within the team (including creation and ownership of documentation/job aids). Sharing best practices within the team, striving for continual improvement in service delivery, participating in improvement initiatives. Adhering to the Global Approval Matrix (GAM) and Financial Control Manual (implementing all established financial controls in daily work) & Data Privacy rules, including reporting all FCM & Data Privacy breaches. Acting as a role model in applying work principles and processes, as well as when dealing with clients. Assisting less experienced colleagues with their complex daily operational issues. Knowledge sharing and organizing/delivering trainings for the team when needed. What you bring A solid understanding of how HR adds value to the business, support employees and team with process and systems expertise and knowledge of continuous improvement. Skills of the business supported in LATAM Diagnostic and investigation skills. Problem solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of local and global policies, and the associated processes Knowledge of HR systems including Shell People, Workday, and Salesforce Effectively manage multiple priorities, such as simultaneous operational issues and projects. Be able to proactively flag issues and make early interventions and recommendations. Strong focus on collaborative working with members of a variety of teams locally and globally. Learner Mindset: Curiosity to learn, grow yourself and learn from mistakes. Employee Centric and Service Excellence mindset. Ownership: End to end accountability for resolution.
