Travel and Location Travel required: 75% of the time or more. Position based in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. On‑site. Role Summary The Customer Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets through excellence in 5P’s execution at the direct point of sale. The role focuses on planning and executing activities with private label, direct retailers, and service providers at the customer’s headquarters, stores, and regional level. The manager builds and maintains strong partnerships, negotiates with buyers and merchandisers, and provides feedback on in‑store environments to refine competitive tactics. Responsibilities Monitor sales and distribution performance, particularly for new products, and take timely action to drive continuous improvement. Engage customers to build our brands through strong alignment, selling, and negotiation. Regularly visit stores to identify areas of improvement. Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop and deliver strong commercial strategies based on deep understanding of shoppers and categories. Lead the development of 18‑month rolling joint “win‑win” business plans covering sales, volume, and profitability at product and SKU level. Monitor compliance of 5P activity execution against agreed objectives and track interim performance. Collect information on the external environment (e.g., competitor activity) during promotion periods. Conduct post‑evaluation analysis of activities, compare results with pre‑evaluation analysis, and explain any differences. Identify insights from post‑evaluation analyses and incorporate learning into future customer and re‑strategy. Required Qualifications Willingness to be based in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, upon hire and highly mobile within Luzon. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer goods or customer management of key accounts (FMCG industry experience is an advantage). Strong drive to achieve results and strong leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Strong analytical skills and business‑savvy, with high-level customer and trade understanding. Ability to work well under pressure and within limited time frames. Active, results‑driven, with good negotiation skills and a strong personality. Computer literate in MS Office and Google Suite.
