Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to Commercial Lines (CL) UW team - Property, Engineering, Marine, Casualty, Bonds, and Technical Service.
  • Over-all responsible for the performance of the Underwriting Division.
  • Monitoring & assessing individual performances & results of each Line, including performances of each Line Head, including Reinsurance. Ensure all acceptances are within company policies and guidelines. This is a key senior leadership role that can greatly impact the success of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • College Education (preferably Engineering background).
  • Licensed by the Insurance Commission on All Lines.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Non-Life Industry & Underwriting including Reinsurance.
  • Attended seminars/trainings in all Lines of Insurance including Surveying, Risk Management, Reinsurance & Leadership.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Systematic and leadership skills.
