Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Settlement Officer to join our team You will be responsible for managing the final stages of the mortgage process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and coordinating with various parties to ensure a smooth and timely settlement.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in mortgage broking and lending administration from submission to settlement.
Collect required information and documentation from clients.
Prepare servicing calculators and stay updated on lender policies.
Collaborate with brokers to recommend suitable lenders.
Input and manage client data in CRM systems.
Order property valuations and monitor their progress.
Submit loan applications and follow up with lenders and solicitors.
Provide clients with post-settlement information.
Verify unconditional approvals and prepare loan documents for signing.
Schedule and facilitate client appointments.
Maintain relationships with external organizations and service providers.
Provide training to new and existing staff members when needed.
Must have demonstrated experience of years of experience in the mortgage or financial services industry, preferably with mortgage settlement experience.
Proficiency in using mortgage broking software such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex, Salestrekker, or other CRM software.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment and maintain harmonious relationships with clients and colleagues.
Clear and effective English communication skills, with minimal accent.
