Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing a wide range of tax returns, including individual, corporate (C and S), partnership, nonprofit, trust, estate, and gift returns, with added expertise in complex scenarios involving consolidations, multi-state, and international issues. Supports year-end accounting clean-up, business tax planning, and projections for high-net-worth individuals, drawing on a strong accounting background. Handles IRS and tax authority inquiries, performs detailed research, manages deadlines proactively, communicates progress with leadership, and stays current on evolving tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience, required.
• CPA Certification preferred
• Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills, detail-oriented and could juggle different projects
• Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience with accounting software packages – QuickBooks, CCH ProSystem Engagement, CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Axcess Document and CCH Axcess Workstream, a plus
