Role Description This is a full-time remote role and needs to be able to overlap for 3-4 hours of our East Coast/US based team (overlap 3-4 hours between 9:00am-5:00pm ET). You should be a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with more than six years experience and with expertise in React.js, GraphQL, Node.js, and implementing AI. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications, implementing features to improve user experience, and ensuring the overall functionality of the software. As a Software Engineer you will primarily work on our new multi-tenant SaaS solution helping large companies better search, manage, and report on their service partners. A strong candidate will have existing developer experience (6+ years), and is able to work with minimal supervision. You will be able to summarize customer feedback to improve the platform. You will also work closely with the rest of the team to make sure our data models cover all customer use cases, our security maintains best practices, and more. We believe in consistently learning to communicate and work through problems together. We are agile and also divide and conquer when it makes sense. Must have at least three years of job experience using Node.js. Our platform has many interesting technical challenges. Responsibilities for this role include: Develop new micro applications Add AI suggestions and insights to applications Build out new product features Extend SpotSource’s API for client integration requirements Design and develop integrations with client systems including payment, risk management, and data lakes (examples: AI, Aravo, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Snowflake) Help us build on best practices Core technologies we use React.js Node.js PostgreSQL ElasticSearch AWS S3 Express Redis GraphQL TypeScript Nix Temporal About you Enjoy building and shipping complex enterprise cloud software for large clients Love taking on projects end-to-end including execution Pro-actively communicate with others Enjoy researching and sharing knowledge to make the team around you more effective Have experience adding AI to enhance customer use of critical features Be familiar with designing and deploying multi-tenant applications You know how to work with SQL technologies Be able to work with JavaScript on both frontend and backend We will consider top candidates from the Philippines only whose schedules can overlap with our team.
