We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Importation Manager to oversee and streamline all import activities, ensure compliance with customs regulations, and manage supplier relationships for efficient and cost-effective global sourcing. Responsibilities Supervise the end-to-end importation process, from purchase order issuance to customs clearance and delivery. Ensure full compliance with Bureau of Customs (BOC) regulations and related government policies. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and brokers to monitor shipment status and resolve logistics concerns. Manage and monitor import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and permits. Negotiate freight and shipment terms to optimize cost and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade policies and customs procedures. Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth import operations. Prepare import reports and performance analyses for management review. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration, Logistics, or related field. Licensed Customs Broker preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in importation, logistics, or supply chain management. Strong understanding of BOC processes, import documentation, and trade compliance. Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience in retail, trading, or distribution industries is a strong advantage.
