Overview

Position Title: Trade Marketing Associate

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Brand Marketing Officer

Work Location: Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Work Set-Up: Onsite

The Trade Marketing Assistant is the key touchpoint between the Marketing Department and Sales Departments. He/She is mainly responsible for executing brand strategies and translating it into activities and programs that will positively impact sales. The TMA is also responsible for marketing event coordination and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute promotional programs that will help key customers in retail, foodservice and distributor segments in line with agreed budgets
  • Coordinate, manage, and execute marketing events in line with approved budget
  • Increase success rate of promotions and brand perceptions by carefully calculating ROI and impact of marketing programs
  • Market and field visits, check field activities, and work in coordination with sales team
  • Analyze and report competitors’ marketing activities
  • Manage inventory of marketing collateral (replenishments, requisitions, etc.)
  • Work hand in hand with the Sales Department to learn key customer insights such as product usage, customer pain points, etc.
  • Conduct preliminary market research for potential new brands
  • Ensure social media influencers and endorsers represent our brands/products according to the brand strategy set

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Qualifications
  1. Minimum Formal Education Level Required:
  2. 1) Graduate of any 4-year business course, preferably Marketing or equivalent
  3. 2) With good scholastic record.
  1. Length and Type of Relevant Experience Required:
  2. 1) Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  3. 2) Preferably with similar work experience in sales in CPG/FMCG Company
  4. 3) Knowledgeable in CRM
  1. Personal Competencies Required:
  2. 1) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. 2) Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. 3) Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  5. 4) Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  6. 5) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  7. 6) Basic knowledge/familiar with various editing software applications including Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
