MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic, and energetic individuals to fill the following vacancy:

Clinic Supervisor

The role is responsible for supervising and overseeing clinic operations to ensure that personalized and comprehensive quality healthcare is delivered to all members.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and monitor clinic staff, retainer doctors, and dentists.
  2. Ensure that quality medical and dental healthcare is delivered to all members.
  3. Handle and manage concerns raised by clinic staff, retainer doctors, and dentists.
  4. Monitor and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of outpatient approval requests.
  5. Guide, coach, and motivate clinic staff; ensure redirection to FSC is implemented and monitored.
  6. Review, monitor, and assist in achieving objectives, measures, targets, and initiatives.
  7. Prepare weekly and monthly reports and submit to immediate superior on time.
  8. Approve clinic staff and retainer doctors' and dentists' daily time records; investigate and resolve notices for correction from claims and complaints from internal and external customers, and implement appropriate action plans.
  9. Ensure clinic equipment are functional and calibrated regularly; maintain clinic facilities and request repairs as needed.
  10. Monitor clinic expenses and liquidation.
  11. Oversee the delivery of check payments to doctors and hospitals.
  12. Perform additional tasks as assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of any 4-year medical course.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a clinic setting or working in an HMO is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and empathetic skills; good negotiator, flexible, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Analytical, systematic, and organized.
