Overview Outlight is a rapidly growing DTC brand reimagining modern lighting for design-forward homes. Our aesthetic is warm, architectural, and minimal—every fixture is a statement piece, and every asset must feel premium. We’re expanding our performance creative team and looking for a Video Creative Specialist who can pair sharp editing instincts with AI tools to produce scroll-stopping ad creatives that convert on TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, and IG Reels. This isn’t about generic edits. It’s about rapid creative testing, crisp storytelling, and shipping high-quality variations at pace—aligned to Outlight’s “warm modern realism” brand vibe. Responsibilities Use AI video tools plus editing software to produce 15–30s performance ad creatives for our lighting products. Edit raw footage and AI-generated clips into high-performing spots with sound design, captions, on-brand typography/text overlays, and conversion-optimized pacing . Repurpose and resize for TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, IG Reels with platform-native best practices. Rapidly test hooks, angles, first frames, and CTAs based on feedback and real ad performance (CTR, hold rate, CPA, ROAS). Collaborate with our marketing & creative strategy pods to turn briefs into multiple variant concepts and iterate quickly. Follow our Creative OS conventions (naming, versioning, export presets, drive structure) to keep output organized and test-ready. Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent). Hands-on experience with AI video/sound tools (e.g., Higgsfield, Kling, Runway, Pika, ElevenLabs ); bonus for familiarity with image models (Midjourney/Firefly) to generate supporting assets. Portfolio demonstrating short-form ads or social edits with measurable outcomes (watch time, CTR, CPA improvements, etc.). Strong grasp of performance storytelling : attention hooks in the first 1–2 seconds, clean structure, purposeful motion, and clear value communication. Ability to ship fast without sacrificing brand polish; comfort iterating from feedback and data. Nice to Have Experience editing product/lifestyle for premium home, furniture, or tech brands. Comfort crafting UGC-style and cinematic variants from the same core assets. Basic motion design skills for tasteful, minimal on-brand typography . Familiarity with narration/AI VO , subtle foley , and soundscapes that enhance ambiance. Compensation $15 USD per 15–30s ad video Steady pipeline: 5–10+ videos weekly Long-term role for editors who deliver fast, clean, effective creatives Engagement Terms Fully remote (Philippines preferred).
