Overview

Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant role at Vestas within Digital Technology Product - Finance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of the SAP Finance module, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and managing project timelines
• Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices
• Deliver proficiency in SAP Controlling (CO), such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Project Systems, Cost Element Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP
• Develop and execute testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions
• Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization
• Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality
• Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors as needed for SAP Finance module support

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in SAP ERP as a FICO Functional Consultant with experience in global roll-outs, including integration with other modules like SD/MM/PP
• Experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or SAP Finance Lead, with practical experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. Exposure to other applications/tools used on Consolidation
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation
• Exposure to SAP PLC is beneficial
• Proficient understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices
• Familiar with Agile Methodology and Product-Led Architecture
• SAP certification in the Financial Accounting (FI) or Controlling (CO) modules
• Exposure to basic ITIL

Competencies

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and guide stakeholders
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work on a hybrid work set-up
