Join or sign in to find your next job Join to apply for the Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant role at Vestas 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant role at Vestas Digital Technology Product - Finance Digital Technology Solutions > Digital Technology Products & Platforms > Digital Finance Oversee the implementation and setup of the SAP Finance module by collecting business requirements, designing effective solutions, and coordinating project schedules Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices Provide knowledge in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors as needed for SAP Finance module support Digital Technology Product - FinanceDigital Technology Solutions > Digital Technology Products & Platforms > Digital FinanceResponsibilitiesOversee the implementation and setup of the SAP Finance module by collecting business requirements, designing effective solutions, and coordinating project schedules Customize SAP Finance functionalities to align with organizational needs and industry best practices Provide knowledge in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Intercompany, Asset Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, and Profit Center Accounting Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize financial processes and reporting within SAP Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP Finance solutions Train end-users on SAP Finance functionalities and ensure adoption across the organization Stay updated with SAP releases, patches, and upgrades, and implement as necessary to enhance system performance and functionality Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors as needed for SAP Finance module support QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field At least 10 years of experience in SAP ERP as a FICO functional consultant with experience in global rollouts, including integration with other modules like SD/MM Extensive experience as an SAP Finance Consultant or SAP Finance Lead, with experience in implementing and supporting SAP Finance modules In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation is valuable, with exposure to New GL Accounting and New Asset Accounting Familiarity with RE-FX and IFRS 16 Exposure to the Archiving and Data Retention tool Familiar with ALE and Idocs functionalities Proficient understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices Familiar with Agile Methodology and Product-Led Architecture SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules Exposure to basic ITIL CompetenciesEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and guide stakeholders Proficient project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Able to efficiently organize tasks with minimal supervision Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills Willing to work on a hybrid work set-up What We OfferWe offer you an engaging role with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, progressive, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
