Join to apply for the Content Assistant - Founder-Led Marketing role at Hire Overseas We’re looking for a high-performing, creative, and scrappy Content Assistant to power the founder-led content engine for a fast-growing media startup. You’ll work closely with the CEO to produce strategic, engaging content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter/X —shaping the founder’s voice into a compelling public presence. This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. You’ll have access to ideas and references—but execution, energy, and cultural fluency are on you. If you understand startup culture, speak fluent Gen Z/Millennial internet, and have strong design instincts, this is your shot. What You’ll Be Doing Draft and publish short-form text posts, memes, and carousels in the founder’s voice Adapt voice memos, interview clips, and insights into sharp content for LinkedIn/X Repurpose newsletter snippets into engaging short-form posts Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that feels native to the platform Create on-brand visuals, quote cards, and carousels using Figma or Canva Collaborate with the founder on content concepts, hooks, and experiments Work with minimalist, modern design references; must have strong taste Track reach, engagement, and follower growth Suggest weekly improvements based on what’s working Stay on top of creator economy trends, LinkedIn growth strategies, and startup memes Who You Are Fluent in English and American internet/startup culture (terminology, tone, memes) 2+ years experience in content creation, social media, or founder-led brand building Strong copywriting instincts and can match voice/tone across multiple post types Comfortable with tools like Figma, Canva, CapCut , or similar Excellent at independent execution and fast turnarounds Bonus: Interest in news, tech, startups, or entrepreneurship Bonus: You’ve built or ghostwritten for a personal brand before What We Offer Paid in USD (bi-monthly payouts: 15th & 30th) Up to 14 days of Paid Time Off annually (starting Day 1) Observance of Philippine Regular Holidays (if applicable) 100% remote – work from anywhere Own and shape a founder’s brand with viral, insight-driven content Potential for promotion to Content Strategist or Social Media Lead as you grow How to Apply Please submit: ✅ Your updated resume ✅ A 1–2 minute Loom video introducing yourself and your experience with founder-led content ✅ A portfolio that includes: Examples of copywriting or social media posts you’ve created (especially LinkedIn/X/Instagram) At least 2–3 short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts) you’ve edited or produced This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a startup founder and build a standout social media presence from scratch.
