The Accounting Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team in achieving organizational goals. This role oversees a team of accountants and plays a key part in maintaining efficient accounting processes, timely financial reporting, and effective internal controls. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management: Supervise and guide the accounting team in daily operations. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Financial Accounting & Reporting: Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy. Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review. Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations. Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Maintain and improve internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy. Support automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance department. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes. Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Provide insights and recommendations to management for financial planning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
