Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial Sales Director, Philippines to spearhead our new business development in the country. This senior role is ideal for a proven sales leader with a strong hunter mentality, extensive network in the enterprise space, and demonstrated success in selling SaaS, AI, cloud and enterprise technology solutions.

You will be responsible for building our market presence in the Philippines, driving new customer acquisition, and shaping our go-to-market strategy. As one of the first senior hires in the country, this is a high-impact role with significant autonomy and growth potential. Reports To: CRO, FPT Smart Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Leadership: Establish FPT Smart Cloud’s presence in the Philippines and position the company as a trusted partner for AI driven digital transformation.
  • New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise customers across priority industries (e.g., banking, insurance, telco, logistics, retail, and others).
  • Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle – from pipeline generation, solution discovery, and proposal development to contract negotiation and deal Closure.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with ecosystem partners (ISVs, resellers, system integrators, and technology alliances) to expand market reach.
  • Customer Value: Understand customer pain points and articulate the value of FPT Smart Cloud’s solutions (AI, cloud infrastructure, chatbots, virtual agents, eKYC, IDP, voicebots, etc.) to solve business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and regional teams to localize solutions, messaging, and go-to-market campaigns for the Philippine market.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM pipeline management, provide reliable sales forecasts, and deliver regular market insights to regional leadership.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years enterprise sales experience in the Philippines, preferably in SaaS, AI, cloud platforms, enterprise software, or digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in acquiring new logos.
  • Strong C-level and enterprise decision-maker network in the Philippines across key verticals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with high energy, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Filipino (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, cloud infrastructure, and digital customer experience solutions is a strong plus.
