Sr. Associate Director Sales - Philippines at Affle

Role: Manager-Sales Philippines (Reporting: Into-Director-Sales). The position is to build and sustain the mediasmart business for the region, penetrating direct brand partnerships, agency relations, and developing thought leadership across the branding ecosystem for the platform. We’re seeking seasoned brand sales professionals with an entrepreneurial mindset to scale this platform’s success in the Philippines as it has globally.

Role details

Position description: Core responsibility is to build & sustain the mediasmart business for the region. This entails penetration across direct brand partnerships, agency relations, and building thought leadership. The candidate should replicate and scale the platform’s success in the Philippines as seen globally.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Engage at senior leadership levels with top advertisers to create joint business plans and drive them to success. Systematically drive thought leadership within the branding ecosystem for your brand by engaging with internal stakeholders to build brand narratives for direct brand & agencies alike.
  • Build an active sales pipeline for large Agency/Trading Desk deals and for Brand IO business; ensure quarterly goals are achieved for the region as the regional leader.
  • Lead sales for Affle’s Mediasmart programmatic & proximity platform, CTV & mDMP propositions to leading agencies, trading desks and advertisers in the region.
  • Instill a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Drive revenue growth by growing existing programmatic accounts and activating new accounts; enable the direct sales team to drive programmatic revenue.
  • Conduct periodic evaluation of RTB programs, identify new opportunities, and present recommendations for growth (e.g., new technologies, improved optimization, ad placement audits).
  • Periodic reporting and analysis of programmatic efforts.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with programmatic players in the market.
Required Skills
  • Min 3-5 years of related experience in sales, business development, and/or product within an advertising technology company, digital media house, or direct brands.
  • Experience guiding deals that involve global collaboration between multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the programmatic ecosystem with a focus on DSP sales.
  • Superb communicator and service-oriented leader.
  • Ability to present effectively to C-level executives and navigate challenges confidently.
