Experience: 3+ years accounting experience | CPA required Location: Remote (Philippines) Type: Full-time or Part-time About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Accountant / CPA to take ownership of our financial reporting, compliance, and tax filings in the Philippines. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our books are clean, accurate, and audit‑ready — and that all obligations are met through Juan Accounting, JuanTax and related systems. You’ll work directly with the founder and operations team to improve internal processes and ensure full compliance with Philippine accounting and tax standards. You will also be expected to serve as Treasurer on the board of directors, a critical requirement as a BSP‑licensed financial institution. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and timely financial records (Juan Accounting). Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (FS, BS, CFS). Manage tax filings via JuanTax — VAT, Income Tax, Withholding, etc. Reconcile bank accounts, payables, and receivables. Support annual audit preparation and coordination with external auditors. Ensure compliance with BIR and SEC reporting requirements. Advise on accounting best practices and process improvements. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing (Philippines). 3+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally in SME or startup settings. Strong knowledge of Philippine tax compliance and BIR procedures . Hands‑on experience using Juan Accounting and JuanTax . Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting systems. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and integrity. Strong communication skills and comfort working independently. Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience preparing audit‑ready statements.
